Green energy is derived from natural and renewable sources. It comprises power produced by solar, wind, geothermal and eligible biomass and biogas sources.

We seek to substantially contribute to making our planet habitable by the future generations. Pontus is looking to develop and expand our biomass and biogas trade as one of our business development priorities.

Biomass and Biogas

Biomass and biogas are organic and renewable materials used for electricity and heat production. As biomass fuels have low energy densities compared to fossil fuels, a significantly larger volume of biomass fuel is required to generate the same energy as a smaller volume of fossil fuel. Logistics typically are 30- 50% of final costs of bioenergy.

Our focus is on adding value to the biomass/biogas supply chain mitigating logistics, storage and finance deficiencies, making bioenergy accessible to consumers at large.
